Festival of Faith

Last week should have seen the annual Festival of Faith take place at Aylsham High School. The Festival is a chance for the young people to explore the significance of faith in the modern world through assemblies, lunchtime talks and RE lessons.

Run by Aylsham Parish Church, in partnership with the school’s Religious Studies Department, the festival is as a creative way to help the students explore some of life’s biggest questions.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the events could not take place in the way we had planned. However, we have managed to record a special online session with students from Aylsham High School interviewing Jerome Mayhew, Member of Parliament for Broadland, at Aylsham Parish Church.

The interview is a fascinating insight into how faith impacts on the life, work and politics of our special guest. Catch the interview on our Facebook page from 11am on Thursday 16th July.
