UPDATED 6TH JANUARY 2021

Further Changes to Services in January at Aylsham Parish Church. In consequence of the worsening COVID-19 situation, Aylsham Church is temporarily suspending in-person services. Online, streamed Sunday services will continue and we remain open for private prayer.

In-Person Public Worship.  All public services attended by the public in-person have regrettably been suspended for the rest of January. This temporary arrangement will be kept under constant review and in-person services will be resumed as quickly as it is safe to do so.

Online Public Worship Services.  We will, however, continue to stream our Aylsham Team Sunday Worship at 10:30am. Access this service via the church Facebook page or web site. It is not technically possible to screen services directly from Aylsham at the moment.

Private Prayer.  The church remains open from 9am to 4pm for private prayer each weekday, and Sunday. Please note that COVID safety and prevention rules remain in operation. Please observe these measures and keep safe whilst in church.

Prayer at Home.  We continue to support prayer at home through prayer resources: get copies by phoning us on 01263 704458. The Church of England nationally also provides national online weekly worship and daily audio prayer services via the Time to Pray app and podcast, and the Daily Hope telephone line for any who are unable to access the internet. For details go to https://www.churchofengland.org/news-andmedia/church-online/weekly-online-services

Aylsham Foodbank. The foodbank is open each Monday morning from 9:30am as usual. We very much look forward to meeting with you online, by phone, or in person during these challenging weeks.

January Service Changes at Aylsham Parish Church

In response to our Tier 4 status, Aylsham Church is changing its January face-to-face services and will continue to stream services online. This temporary arrangement will be kept under constant review.

Public Worship

The 8am and mid-week services will be suspended until further notice. A 10:15am Communion Service will be held in church each Sunday, for those wishing to attend church at this time. In order to mitigate infection risk, we continue to implement all required COVID safety and prevention rules. Please observe these rules when in church. Please do not come to church if you have COVID symptoms.

Online Services

Clearly, some will not wish to attend church at a time of increased case numbers, and so we will continue to stream our Aylsham Team Sunday Worship at 10:30am. Access this service via the church Facebook page or web site. It is not technically possible to screen Alysham services at the moment.

Prayer at Home

We continue to provide prayer resources: get copies by phoning us. Also go to https://www.churchofengland.or... to view other Church of England resources: national online weekly worship and daily audio prayer services via the Time to Pray app and podcast. The Daily Hope telephone line for those unable to access the internet.

Private Prayer

Following the Christmas break, private prayer re-starts on Tuesday 5th January and continues each weekday from 9am to 4pm. Please note that COVID safety and prevention rules remain in operation. Please observe these measures and keep yourself and others safe whilst in church.

Aylsham Foodbank

The foodbank is open each Monday morning from 9:30am as usual. We very much look forward to meeting with you online, by phone, or in person during these challenging weeks.
